Ken MacKenzie

President, Associated Designers of Canada

Ken is a Toronto-based, multi-award winning set, lighting and costume designer whose work has appeared on stages across Canada and the United States. Through the course of the Pandemic Ken has focused much of his time as an arts advocate in his role as the president of the Associated Designers of Canada.

Ken’s most recent design credits before the Pandemic include the set and costume design for Necessary Angel’s The Events, The set Design for Soulpepper’s Jesus Hopped the A Train and the set and costume designs for the Shaw Festivals: Sherlock Holmes and the Raven’s Curse. 

Ken Holds an MFA from California Institute for the Arts.
