Caracol is a bilingual artist forging her own path. The Montreal-based songwriter and producer has released six international albums and earned numerous nominations and awards, including recognition from the Genie Awards, Juno Awards, Canadian Independent Music Awards (The Indies), Félix Awards, Prix Miroir, GAMIQ, and Canadian Folk Music Awards. She tours internationally, and her live-looping videos frequently go viral on social media.
Caracol also writes and produces for other artists (David Myles, Vacay, Eli Rose, The Voice Québec, Canada’s Got Talent, and more) and composes for film and television. Her seventh solo album, Sound System—filled with eclectic pop gems infused and tropical vibes—will be released in January 2026
In parallel, Caracol has completed professional training in sound therapy at the renowned British Academy of Sound Therapy. After a difficult health episode in 2023, she discovered this healing modality and embraced it as a new branch of her musical tree
Caracol’s Level UP! Project Details
Caracol’s Level UP! pilot focused on designing and facilitating a two-day Sound Therapy and Creativity Retreat for artist-caregivers in the music industry. Drawing from her lived experience and professional training in sound therapy, the retreat created space for reflection, rest, and creative renewal for women navigating both artistic careers and caregiving responsibilities.
Rooted in values of respect, support, accessibility, and creativity, the pilot project offered a model for wellness in the arts sector. It also served as a stepping stone in Caracol’s ongoing work to make sound therapy more visible and available within the broader music community.
