This conversation welcomes all artists, arts workers, arts organizations and supporters, including those who are parents/caregivers and those who receive care, who are interested in discussing needs related to care and caregiving in our arts community. Gwaandak theatre would like to provide caregivers in the Yukon the opportunity to guide the event, so we will be asking 3 local community members to help us shape the guiding questions for the event. While all are welcome to ask and share in the circle during the event, these 3 prompt questions coming from the community will provide us a grounded jumping off point.

Please register HERE to share dietary restrictions and request childminding or access support.

How is caregiving defined for this event? Balancing Act and Gwaandak acknowledge that there are many vectors of care and understand that a caregiver may be someone caring for children, aging adults, those in need of personal or primary care, as well as someone who may be caring for the community. We acknowledge that care work can include blood, adopted, or chosen family, colleagues, and caring for others out of duty.
